The event is organised by the Joint Regatta Committee which comprises up to five members appointed by each of the three organising clubs, together with any other non-voting members the Committee chooses to appoint in order to increase its pool of expertise. Also on the Committee in a non-voting capacity are representatives of our sponsors.
The Week is run by a hard-working Race Team who give their time freely and willingly to provide the best possible racing and results service, sometimes under very difficult circumstances, and they are assisted by the fleet of Official Boats.
The team also receives assistance from the Clyde Corinthian Yacht Club and Inverkip Marina at the start of the Inverkip to Ardrishaig Race. Many other businesses, organisations and individuals also provide much needed help in making the event a success... thanks are due particularly to Jim Berry and his staff at Craobh Marina, Sue Price and Oban Marina staff, Tommy Barbour and BP Fuels Ltd, H.M. Coastguard, and the RNLI (though we hope they are not needed!).
The Joint Regatta Committee is also very grateful to Argyll & Bute Council, to Thomas Tunnock Ltd, and to Tobermory Distillery for their generous contributions towards our development and running costs. Also thanks to Caledonian MacBrayne for providing the reception in their terminal building, and to West Coast Motors, BP Marine and Flit Self Drive for their support.
