Hot news from Crinan Canal

As everyone knows, Crinan Canal has in the past perhaps proved a bit of a challenge for short handed crews – that and lack of loos at Crinan were probably the biggest points raised by customers. So the canal management is delighted to advise that they are building a new facility block for 2012, and will also provide assisted locking on inland locks.

This will be a superb start to the season and real boost as they start under their new Scottish Canals banner in April.
